About us

The woman within the mother.

togetHER is an Australian-born initiative creating a gentler, more connected place for women through the mental and physical seasons of motherhood.

Our intention

Motherhood asks so much. Support should give something back.

Co-founded by Katie, a mother herself, togetHER exists to advocate for mothers and make room for honest, whole-person wellbeing—without judgement or expectation.

“To restore yourself to whoever you want to be, however you want to do it.”

Katie’s story

I am the lived experience.

togetHER is what I wished had existed when I needed it most.

  • Endometriosis
  • ADHD
  • Autism
  • Complex PTSD
  • Chronic pain
  • Postnatal anxiety
  • Intrusive thoughts
  • Burnout

After an emergency caesarean during COVID, I spent months certain my son would die. It took eight months to ask for help. Endometriosis, ADHD, autism, complex PTSD and chronic pain: every answer came years later than it should have.

Support for mothers exists, but it’s scattered, expensive and hard to find. I know because I paid for it, emotionally and financially.

I’m still early in my own healing. But no mother should be as sick, frightened and alone as I was. togetHER is the platform I needed and couldn’t find.

I want to help women and mothers at every stage: to build the kind of support that catches burnout early, and to push for workplaces and policies that do not leave the next mother to survive it alone.

If what nearly broke me can become the thing that makes it a little easier for the next mother, it is worth building.
